Norfolk CLs

Can anyone recommend Cls and quiet sites around Bacton near Mundesley in Norfolk. Never been to that part of the world before - Whats it like over there?

Hi Julie,

From a personal point of view I would probably consider another part of the Norfolk Coast. Bacton IMO is not the greatest of places, it looks a little run down, as does Mundesley with tired amusement arcades and a few fish and chip shops. Oh, and do'nt forget the gas terminal at Bacton, not a great tourist attraction.

If you are considering coming to Norfolk, find somewhere between Cromer and Heacham. That is by far the nicest coastline.

I could recommend a few nice CLs if you are interested.

If you are in the CC Try Jimmy Gott's CL at Happisburg (Haisboro to natives). Bin ther several times and love it. Good site, well run and Jimmy and his missus are great. If you aren't in the CC better join quick!

Sorry forgot to tell you about the area - quiet, which is what you like, quaint coastal villages with nice pubs, loads of country walks - both around the site and further afield - (try the Weavers way) and charming friendly Norfolk people. The coastal scenery is not Cornish but i'ts not Blackpool either, if you get my drift.
