Hi Maddy,
Well the obvious route from Calais looks as if it will be the A16 to Abbeville A28 to Yvetot then the A29 to the A13 to Caen, N13 to Bayeux, to Carentan and then the D971,D903 to La Haye. I know we did this route about 10 yrs ago as we got a cheap crossing to Calais when we were skint, but it is a 2-3 hr journey.
The other option which may be quicker Calais Juc 14 of E402 towards St Martin, A16-E402 Abbeville, E402 Blangy, E402-A28 to-wards St Saens, A29-E44 Honfleur, over the Pont de Normandy bridge, A29, A13 E46 Caen, N13 Bayeux, Carentan and then D971,D903 To La Haye.
I can't remember if this brings you to the main set of lights in La Haye or the small round about next to the parish church. If it is the main lights in La Haye as there is only one main set turn right you will then see La Commerce Restaurant on your left and The Parish church on your right with a round about where you turn right, Travel approx 1/2 mile and you will see Michigan hardware on your right and you have gone under a bridge. 200 meters on left take turning and the entrance to the site is approx 100 meters on right.
If you are coming it from the other Rd you will come to a large round about with all directions to the right, ignore this and go straight on, you will go down a brow of a hill and then you will see the signs for the camp site on the right,if you have gone too far you will pass Michigan on the left and the police station and the bridge will be in front of you.Go into the town to the round about and turn round.
Wow I,me exhausted and this was just done from the most part from the little grey cell,s.
If you need any more help don,t hesitate to E Mail.
I am off for dinner and a glass of wine.
Take care
Rob
