Noseweight - newb query

Hi,

Just doing final checks on my caravan before I go away. Is there anywhere on the van/books that will show me what the official noseweight of my van is.

The lovely chap I bought it off said it was 'about 7 stone' and gave me a noseweight guage with a mark on it of where the guage should drop to, but I'd like to be a bit more precise.

Is there a plate or a mark that should be on the van?

Noseweight does not necessarily have to be on the manufacturer's plate but you should at least find a sticker somewhere in the A-frame area or in the owner's handbook. Where the information is exactly depends on the make. Most caravans have a 100kg (220lb) limit but if you can't find definitive details anywhere you should ask a dealer or manufacturer to confirm.
