Not going away

I am not happy, i cannot get a buyer for my old caravan so cannot get the new one for the weekend so i have decided to work instead at least saturday, 2 of my collegues are going away though with there units. I did not want to chance taking the caravan away when i am trying to sell it incase anything untowards was to happen don't want any accidents, felt best to leave the caravan in the driveway, besides i strongly object to paying double rates for a bank hol i had to pay £20 pn at start of month and i am not doing that again. If the weather had stayed good i would have taken a tent and meet my work collegues after working saturday, but iam not willing to do that when the forcast if for rain at least if i had put a tent on caravan pitch they could not charge much for that.

i dont know about that,quite a lot of sites charge the same for a tent as a caravan these days,mind,some tents are bigger than a caravan.

I have been watching the forcast for the area I was going to, and saw it gave heavy rain and winds Sunday and Monday, so decieded to stay home,:-( lots of good weather to come I hope.

Just arrived home yesterday after an outing of 10 days. Looking forward to a rest before setting out again in 2 weeks time.

hi, I m fed up this weekend to, sitting in house looking out at caravan in driveway What a waste, kids of school but guess what hubby had to work away this weekend, i was tempted to go away on own with kids and just take the tent then seen forcast for sunday and monday, decided stay at home and give him a right ear full when he gets home.

As we are on a seasonal pitch, we come and go as and when we like,but yes I would certainly have cancelled if I had been booked on a site, only had to do it twice in 15 years,
