Hi Angie - There is quite a nice CL site in Zig Zag Lane in Porthcawl. However Porthcawl is not the best of seaside resorts regarding cleanliness. The eastern part of the town around the funfair and static caravan holiday site is generally dirty with litter, etc. and rowdy at night with lager louts. Typical brash kiss me quick type of scenario. The main shopping area and Rest Bay side of town is however very pleasant.
Why not venture slightly further west to the CC site at Pembrey, see my comments on another posting in this section. The only problem here is the weather. If it is wet there is very little to do as it is an area where all enjoyment is out of doors - great for push bikes.
