Old caravan info needed!

My parents used to have a Piper 1200CT Executive caravan- probably around 1985/86. As I remember it had double glazing, heating, fridge etc which was quite rare for the price of van at that time.

I want to find some more info on this van- as effectively it got me into caravanning when I was a kid (3 of us in a 12ft van!) and made me get the 04 bailey that I have now

If anyone knows of a website, club or any place where I could get info on this van I would really appreciate it! Time to bring back those childhood memories!

Piper caravans were made by a firm called Cosalt (believe it or not, originally The Great Grimsby Coal, Salt, and Tar Company), now long deceased. I know this because they also made Abbey vans, one of which I bought new in 1983. Piper was their budget range; Abbey their medium and above ones. Abbey are now part of Swift Group, who may possibly be able to tell you something about Piper. Best of luck.

Graham
