Hi all,
my father owns a caravan believed to be 1908 - I think that counts as vintage!!
At present in a museum in Wales:

He's thinking of selling it and wonders if anyone is interested or has any idea of value?
cheers
Chris

That's lovely to see, thank you. It reminds me of the old shepherds' huts, from long before the age of the motor car/tow car! I saw one at the Weald and Downland Museum in Sussex a while back. Do you enjoy the stories of older 'project' caravans that we feature in Practical Caravan? I'm thinking particularly of the October 2014 issue, with the 'Shoestring restoration' by Tony Vallance of Holly, his 1970s Bessacarr. Also 'Me & my caravan' in Caravan Chat features the work of a keen van restorer who's proudly showing off his rare 1956 Bambi. October is evidently a good month for nostalgia!
