If that was supposed to be the case, can anyone explain why Will I Am was the torch bearer through Taunton???????????? (and he couldnt even say "Taunton", he kept saying "Tauton".
That should come as no surprise, he can't even say "William"

Is it me, or as the olympic torch got lost? It now seems to be in a different country, the republic of Ireland.

thankfully it passed us by! So many kids went to see it, we only had 15 out of 30 in our class - absolute bliss...Am eternally grateful we don't have a tv in the van so we won't have to put up with the actual event either, phew.

Although I don't agree with the Olympics as we cannot afford it at this time and even less with the torch parade which was started by Hitler in modern times, but what on earth is it doing in the Republic of Ireland? How does that benefit the British Olympics?

Reading this thread encouraged me to look at who is carrying the torch past our house in Bloxwich at the end of the month. We have someone from Nantwich, one from from Telford, one from Lusaka, a Mauritian, and even a South African from Roodeport. Are the locals too worried about losing benefits if they were seen running with the torch?
Oh well, it's as close as I'm going to get to the Olympics in my lifetime so I suppose I better go and cheer them. Anyone know the Afrikans for "Well done"? Any ideas Surfer?
