Currently slumming it in the Sofitel hotel at Gatwick as we are off to Tenerife with friends for a week.

I reckon two 250 HP motors would do it provided you keep the nose of the caravan up ( I remember the Toyotaboata on Top gear - so silly but it worked)
Thanks… I was thinking 2 x 500 bhp motors but am a bit concerned about water ingress through the door seal🤣🤣🤣🤣

@Steve 1962 be careful -my son managed to 'wheelie' my 4 berth motorboat and it only had a 90HP engine ( scared the living daylights out of me as I rolled backwards toward the transom only to be stopped as the 'deadman' line pulled out of the engine control) if you get the caravan on the 'plane' water ingress shouldn't be problem. I'd be more worried with 'pooping' as you slow down. @otherclive given some 23000 made it across last year with no trouble (allegedly) I doubt a high speed caravan would draw much attention

First time a Bailey caravan has ever been called high speed 🤣🤣🤣
Will keep you all updated if anything calamitous happens when “your man in Tenerife “ embraces the culture of the island …..

What part of the island are you?
There are great day trips to Teide or Gomera or is it only as far as poolside?
Enjoy a wonderful island...we are there in December

Arrived at 5 pm.

Took a few snaps, with more to be added to the gallery as the week unfolds…

Captain Chaos abroad aka Basildon Bond ( I’ve got letters after my name).
Our son and his partner were in the southern part of Tenerife two weeks ago, and enjoyed the break. Have a good time.
