We live in Scotland and go caravanning in Scotland. We were hoping to go to a site further north which said in their add 'pets welcome'. So on emailing them to book for the two of us and friendly, timid Doberman, we were told yes we take pets but not Dobermans - apparently they had trouble with one a couple of years ago. Ours is stupid, timid and very friendly. Can he really do that??
 
Yes they can. Any site owner, like any other property owner, can choose who to allow onto their property.

Clearly that site owner doesn't want your business enough.

Find a site elsewhere that's glad of your custom.
