Once recommended Norfolk coast pub has been sold

I've just found out that the wonderful Fishermans Return pub in Winterton, Norfolk, was sold a few months ago, when the owners retired, having run it extremely successfully for over 30 years.

This old Norfolk pub had the perfect recipe for success and was well supported. Folk would come from miles away to eat and drink there. It was a gift for anyone taking it over, with no need to have to change anything. So why do people find the need to change a winning formula?

Can't recommend it any more.

You are being a little unfair, or have not told the whole story.

Firstly, the owners have retired, as they are entitled to after 30 years toil. Also has it changed so much with new owners? They may try to apporach things from a different angle and it may be just as nice, but different.

I do agree that change is not always for the best, but sometimes you have to give thins a chance.
