one night stop northern france

hi all,

im currently planning our 2 week caravan holiday in bordeaux, france for next august.

im looking to stop-over on the way for 1 night possibly around the amiens area but cant seem to find many sites that offer a 1 night stay option.

any suggestions or help would be much appreciated

Most French towns have a municipal site - principally just for overnight stays. Have a look on the website

http://www.campingfrance.com/FR/Recherchez-votre-camping/PICARDIE/Sommeand there are 143 sites listed in that 'Departement' including one in the middle of Amiens.

Lots of people stay overnight at the site in Neufchatel en Bray - Camp de St Claire - and highly recommend it.
