Does anyone know if you can stay on the dockside for the night after arriving on the Brittany sailing 1500 from Portsmouth, arrive Ouisterham 22.00. This sailing hs a good discount, but it's a bit late to go looking for a site particularly in January

I cant speeak for the journey from th e UK to France, but when we were returning home from France at the end of August on the Ouisterham Portsmouth route there were several Vans parked up for the night on the apron outside the terminal building. In view of that I would think it entirely possible - although I can make no comment about its safety.

Thanks, Peter for the idea. Unfortunately the CC book shows this site open only April - October, and we are travelling January. Thanks anyway. Ray

I can only say what I saw in the summer .........

Next to the ferryport, between the road and the beach, is a large car park. At the time it was home to about 40 campervans; so no height problems then. It's not the way that I would choose to spend a holiday, but they did not seem to have any problems. I suspect a simple overnight will be easy.
