overnight Caen mid September

We are traveling, via Caen, and are trying to find out if the Municiple site near Ouistreham is likly to have a late night access. Ferry arrives 11 ish French time. If this fails what is parking on the dock like, and is there a route to get to it , or indeed is it all self expanitary when you get there. Have done the route via Caen before but have not needed to overnight.You lot have put me off the overnight on an aires.

We have always used Camping Les Hautes Coutures 3km fom Ferry.

Used by Caravan Club booking service. Owner awaits those booked to arrive about 2240. Clean secure site.
 
The municipal site, at the first roundabout out of the port will stay open to recieve travellers of the ferry, even if it is late
