Overnight Needed

Can anyone recommend an overnight stay? We are heading for the Vendee region - last year we stayed at St. Claire campsite which was very nice; however only 136 miles from the port.
Total miles from Folkestone to destination is 411 miles. We would do in one hit, but we have 2 small children and don't want to rush.
We would ideally this year like to be 225-250 miles down before we do an overnight. This would put us on the A28 just before going onto the A11, I think.
Any suggestions most welcome.

There is a good municipal at Beaumont-sur-Sarthe, which is just North of Le Mans. Easy access from the A28 with spotless facilities, a children's play area and resident kingfishers. What more could you want?
