Overnight stopover in France

Hi, We are travelling to Spain with our twin axle caravan this August.Does anyone have any recommendations for a site suitable for families off the A75 near Clermont Ferrand, France.

It`s only for an overnight stop but pitches must be big enough for twin axles.

Many Thanks.

Hi Lee , here's a site that i have stopped at overnite , camping Le Clos Auroy,Rue de Narse ,63670 Orcet

www.camping-le-clos-auroy.com

S on A75 from Clermont Ferrand ,take exit 5 sp Orcet follow D213 to Orcet for 2KM ,at roundabout onto the D52 ,take first left site on right after 100 yards ,pitches are hedged and large enough for twin axles , security barrier at entrance ,but you can raise the barrier yourself ,if like me you like to leave early ,small swimming pool on site , the only problem we has was the amperage was so low on the hook ups , that it kept tripping , but as the site was virtually empty in January , there were plenty of other places to plug into

Agree with joby a nice site and with pitches big enough for TA. If you stay for more than overnight there is a good shopping area including an Auchan about 5 miles north.
