This is an answer to a question I posted over a year ago - "Has anyone toured Argentina?"
Yes, and it is a wonderful country for motorhomes, although they are few and far between. Roads are mostly excellent, scenery is a delight, locals very friendly and the wildlife spectacular.
We hired from Andean Roads, the van was 4 years old based on a Mercedes Sprinter and although fairly basic had all we needed and took everything we threw at it in 8000km over 4 weeks.
Travelling in August /September some tourist services were closed, including all camp sites, but overnighting in garages or at the very wide sides of roads was no problem and water was available in every garage.
Definitely recommended, although the country Is so our 4 weeks was nowhere near long enough.
