OverRun Damper

I have a 2004 Swift Conqueror 650 Lux Twin Axle While under normal or Severe braking It Brakes good and straight.But while reversing unless i am ultra careful it seems to bang on the coupling head has anyone else encoutered something like this I was wondering whether the Damper is abit weak !!!!!

I don't think it is weak. I am able to push a damper in with a bit of effort so I would think a car reversing would have no problem.

I also can push the head in with force but it is the clunk/bang noise if i am not carefull

If the damper returns of its own volition then it should be ok if it stops in then you may have a problem
