overseas license & insurance

Hi All

Does anyone know if I can be added to an insurance policy temp for a month?
But because I had to change my licence being in another coutry for 6 months it is an overseas license.. I had to surrender my uk license to get it..
passed our test here and driven for donley years .. when we come back we will have revert to our uk licenses.

but just need to go on car now for a while here on hols

Whose policy do you want to add yourself to? I would not have thought it would be too difficult (although might be expensive, depending on circumstances).

For one month have you considered simply hiring a car? ..... it is routine for people with overseas licences.

Best talk to the insurance company concerned through the policyholder as it is they who have to have you added. But as Vic says hiring might be another option and hire companies do it day in day out.
