You asked me to update you when I came back from Rick Steins. Well although quite expensive (what else would you expect) it is well worth a visit. The service is excellent and the quality of the food is first class.

Although the menu changes daily, the traditional courses you associate with a seafood restaurant are always available, lobster, oysters and the like.

Would defiantly recommend it and would certainly go back once the credit card has recovered

Did you get the free Cabaret of Mrs Stein thumping his girlfriend and him outside the Restaurant.

Ask for a refund if you didn't!

And well done to Mrs Stein.

We were away for the weekend but saw it in a few day old paper at work yesterday.

Mrs Stein told him never to bring the lady friend to Padstow and humiliate her I gather. When she saw the pair of them she gave the woman a piece of her mind and thumped her, Stein was supposed to have said that it was a silly thing to do. So she thumped him as well!

According to the paper she is now wanting the divorce, she owns half of the

The vets bill would have just about bought you your evening meal at Mr Steins. I would have shot the dog and gone if I were you!!!!!!!!!!!

That was a joke before anybody takes offence I wouldn't really

I take great offence at your remark about shooting the dog, in fact I've reported you to the mod.

JOKE! Not really!

It wasn't the dog, it was one of my cats, neighbour who was looking after them rang to say he'd had to take it to the vet and he'd paid the bill for us.

Fancy old Ricky playing away from home, how terrible.

Did you have lunch in Fowey too, I really love that place. When I win the lottery I might buy a place overlooking the harbour.

Hi Graham

Yes, 100 lines please on my desk for 9am.

Next time you go to Cornwall, try and get to Fowey, it's picturesque and quite upmarket. Truro was good but I'm speaking from a retail point of view. Has some good shops for teenagers.

Old Ricky was on the tv last week talking about the poet John Betchman and he visited several of Betchman's favourite places in Cornwall. Inspired, I informed my husband and daughter that we would be visiting one of Bentchman's favourite places - Trebetherick. Off we set the next day. Stopped off at a lovely tea shop. Long story short - we missed the beach/cove due to my husband having no patience and driving past it twice then declaring 'well, if they can't signpost the beach, they obviously don't want tourists' money'. So that was it, I never got to see it.

Cat's ok thanks. Unfortunately a stray cat has now turned up on the doorstep and keeps trying to get in our house despite having two dogs and three cats already.

Lisa.
