Panoramic window leak

Hi
I have a leak in my panoramic window on my 2014 Elddis Shamal which recently while on holiday during a heavy rainstorm became quite severe.
Could you please advise if there is a possible diy solution or is it a professional project?

Does the window open? Is the rain coming through a crack in the window or via the seals?

Hi Mel
No the window doesn't open, it is the one above the 3 front windows with a surround which is sealed with sealant and I suspect that the sealant may have started perishing.

I can’t help but I will move this thread into the Technical section where it might get more traction
Mel

It can be replaced completely if you have the tools and the time

I also have done the cheap fix , if you look at the first video where, having cut the majority of the window away with a multitool he then shows you where the window is bonded to the caravans roof ,with a further overlap and you can see the accumulation of dirt . Without touching the window and working from the outside of the window I first checked the window for any cracks and then degreased the caravan roof and window edge with IPA and then applied a generous bead of sikaflex 554-black around the edge of the window to seal the complete outer edge of window to form an additional seal (it took two cartridges). Then using Brake cleaner(ether based ) smoothed down the surface to make it look neat.
