We went there 9 years ago so somethings may have changed. It was very nice other than it rained all week and we were under the trees. It's a typical National Trust owned wooded CC site. On quite a slope from what I can remember, but if you get on the lower pitches then you can walk down to the lake shore. You can't walk along the main road, but it's just a quick drive into Coniston. I think that you can walk along the shore line though.

I remember seeing some deer in the woods behind our pitch which was very nice. The warden said that they were a common sight on the site.

Hope you enjoy your stay.

Hi

We stopped at Park Coppice last year and had a fantastic holiday. It is a lovely site in a great location. Can walk down to the lake through the site, but it will be up hill on the way home. The wardens were very nice and helpful and the toilet block etc. were very clean.
