Part Ex valuations

Can anyone explain the following - We are really interested in the new Bailey California, Swift 570 and Sterling Ruby fixed bed, end bathroom layout. In preparation for NEC next week I checked out with 3 local dealers how much I could expect in part ex for our 2005 Coachman Amara 520/4. The new Swift and Sterling retail at £15,500 and the Bailey at £15,750. Against the Swift I would need £7,500 to change, the Sterling £8,000 and the Bailey a whopping big £9,500. Do you think this is just the Bailey dealership taking the proverbial or are Swift and Sterling heavily discounted at the moment?

Have you decided which van is your preference? If so, try negotiating with the dealer to the better offer. If it is already the best one, then go for it.
