Does anyone know of a site...near a beach...where they will allow us to site our van from The end of March until mid-June. My Husbands away in the forces and I want to use our van..but don't feel I can tow it.

have you any idea which part of the country you would like to be situated?

my husband is also in the forces, I am learning to tow our van so when he is away we can still go for breaks, and also if (god forbid) he should fall ill while we are on holiday I will be able to tow it home.

the camping and caravanning club run towing days, I am hoping to sign up for one in the summer - something for you to think about maybe?

We usually go to the Barmouth area to relax..the beach is amazing and we can walk our dogs for miles.

But I am happy with anywhere either up the East coast or Wales

I think I will have to learn how to tow.

About towing!!

Please just do it, we didn't get a van until 5 years ago and we went on the course, (but in fact I towed before doing the course, just tried and got straight into it). I am 61 now so was mid 50's then, so you are never too old. Now confidently tow anywhere, and can now even reverse onto a pitch (more than my husband can do!). Before getting the van I never imagined I would do it, but Hey, girls can do anything!!!

Hi,I have towed our 19ft caravan not very far but did it and now we are getting a Avondale dart 556/6 so i think I will have to have a course on towing,where do i start,who does it? Joanne
