Passport renewal

My sons passports run out early this year (aged 15, 16 and 19). Does anyone know how I get them re-newed and how much it costs. Will they now go to an adults passport or will they get another 5 year one.

Hi Graeme,

The rules have changed on passports now and as far as I understand your 15 yr old can renew his passport as a child still & get another 5 yr passport which will last him until it runs out when he is 20.

Your two other sons will have to upgrade to a new adult passport unfortunately as 16 yrs old & up is classed as adult.

You can get forms from main post offices or check out the website www.passport.gov.uk
