PC Freezer Article

Must say that this made me smile. It would have been a good idea to look at mains cube freezers too. We bought a table top mains freezer which travels in the car and lives in the awning with a matching fridge. It's brilliant for our needs on a long holiday and holds much more than the expensive alternative. Ours cost £50 on ebay

Our caravan fridge has a freezer compartment although we make very little use of it. Basically we tend to try to live on fresh food although the odd ready meal is bought if we are tired. It might work for some people though.

I was totally shocked by the prices of those reviewed. I wouldn't pay that for a domestic freezer.
The reason we have the extra fridge and freezer is so I can pre-prepare and freeze food for a week, which I will then supplement with a big shop when we arrive, thus eliminating constantly popping to the shops and giving more time to getting on with the holiday.

I am looking to buy a mini fridge as the caravan one is a joke as its 20 years old now.

Have looked at the Husky ones, are they any good?

Currys sell them Coca Cola ones for 100 quid, which is the cheapest I have found.

we have an 'ice king' fridge. they retail for about £120, but we paid £50 on ebay, for each of the freezer and fridge. £100 well spent in my book.
