Just been reading the August issue and the always thrilling our month section and in particular the item by Jennifer Stuart-Smith on page 107. She sings the praises of her new Coachman and in particular the kitchen and how good it is for entertaining and washing up,there she is busy cooking in the picture at the bottom right of the page.

Now is it me but do they use illegal sites that pitch vans too close together because through the window(the one from which the view compensates for washing up duties)there appears to be 2 feet away what looks like Adele's Bessacar,or perhaps they actually took the photos in the PC car park,no they wouldnt do that would they?

Don't know the answer to this, but I do know that they seem to have a pretty good time of it - swanky car and caravan on loan, three or four holidays in different parts of the country every month... I'd happily write about my hols if I got all that!

Some of the "reports" leave a lot to be desired.

In the August mag no 11 on page 99 they say "The flat cushions make up into a matress in seconds, but its not all that comfortable"

Its no wonder its not comfortable with the cushions not turned over and the smaller backrests in the centre.

When we had caravans with that layout it was always possible to turn the two wide cushions through 90 degrees with the two backrest where the feet came in bed.

It took more than a few seconds but the improved comfort gave hours of better sleep.

At the very least an improvement to comfort would be made by turning the cushions over so that the flat side was uppermost amd having the two wider cushions in the centre.

Well spotted, The Plotter! Having taken another, closer, look at the picture it all looks very 'staged' and could have been taken in a 'van accommodated in a compound! All very dodgy!
