Hi all, just a quick word to thank you for your kind comments regarding Her Ladyship. It has been a long journey, since last September, but hopefully it's all over albeit she's a bit lighter now with her being minus her lymphnodes, right colon and part of her liver.I would post some more but for some reason I can't delete or add any text to what I've already written and neither are the emoticons working.Apologies to Steve for not trying to log in sooner after his email but I didn't want to try it until I was on my computer because I mostly use my iPad these days and they can be finnicky on some forums.

Have a look at the sticky post Here because some versions of Internet Explorer don't update automatically and the sticky will tell you how to activate the IE compatibility mode

Excellent news LB and of course for Her Ladyship.
Do I detect the Senator wheels will be turning again soon in the direction of The Clemmo pad in Cornwall

Thanks Steve, I'll try that tomorrow. I'm just testing it out on my iPad at the moment .
I can't seem to be able to insert an emoticon.
Correct DD, off there in September for two weeks or a bit more until they close if Her Ladyship is agreeable. I can't wait because we both love that site. Friends of ours who took over our June booking had a look at their new site and said that will be nice when it matures.
First off all is our two weeks away on the 28th. A week in Notts to visit my mother and another week in Lincs at a CL at Woodhall Spa visting my SIL who has just had a double by-pass. This looks a beautiful site with excellent reviews and couldn't believe our luck when they had a pitch at such a late date. It would be right up your street DD because they have their own 16 acre arboretum and across the road a forest of about 300 acres from memory.
Have a nice time at the wedding.
Well it works fine with the iPad, even the edit which I'm testing now. Only downside, no emoticons. :0(

First of all click on the 'Input Format' breadcrumb (bottom left) to make sure that the 'Full HTML' button is enabled.
If the full HTML is on and you still can't enter smilies and you have a spare few minutes you could have a go at entering the html for smilies Lord B.
Try writing a message as normal then before you click on Save click the 'Disable Rich Text' breadcrumb.
Copy and paste to where the smiley icon is to appear: <img src="http://www.blackcountrygob.com/images/smilies/icon/lol.gif"alt=""/> and click on Save.
If this method works I'll forward a list of HTML smileys for you to use if you want to.

Home eh?

My best wishes for the continued recovery of her Ladyship, and we have missed your contributions to the forum.
smiley-laughing.gif

I heard all sorts of rumors about your absence from the forum, please tell us which one is true?

The Wench had a baby, and you managed to dodge the shot gun wielding father.
smiley-surprised.gif

You were supplying your pal Lord Lucan with GnT's
smiley-cool.gif

Immigration caught up with you and deported you because your Visa had expired.
smiley-cry.gif

Christine Keeler named you as a her pimp.
smiley-kiss.gif

You were abducted by extraterrestrials.
smiley-undecided.gif

You'v been pleasuring Her Majesty, and your out now, was it early release or parole? Or have HMP done it again and let the wrong one out?

Thanks Prof

for your kind words.
Regarding the rumours none were true but if I have to pick one I'll go for the first because it will be a badge of honour and help my street cred.
Now as for the last one, pleasuring Her Majesty

Hi Kev, very observant of you
smiley-smile.gif
and no, I never noticed the dates. What a coincidence
smiley-surprised.gif

Hope fully Her Ladyship is clear but she wont know that fully for another 5 years but the surgeons did sound positive. Still more scans and another colonoscopy in the next few months but the old girl will get there I'm sure because apart from a few days after each op plus the tiredness with the chemo she said she's never felt ill. At least her bossing me about hadn't lessened.
Spent all day yesterday getting the green grime and black streaks off the chariot. I hadn't sweated like that since I finished work ten years ago
smiley-frown.gif

Anyway we off off for two weeks Sunday, one in Notts to see my old Duch and another in Lincs to see the SIL. That's if I remember all the paraphanalia of hitching up etc.

Thanks for that Steve but it seems to have righted itself without me doing anything. I haven't tested the iPad though which is what I use mostly these days.
