Pet passports

I see the EU is proposing changes to the pet passport scheme. Don't know if it's a good or bad thing.

Definately a bad thing - and that from a man who takes his dogs abroad!! We have stringent (and costly) rules and regulations to keep disease out of our lovely land, lets keep it that way.

It will be the same old story emmerson. Responsible owners (me included) will still have their dogs treated before we return, others will not. However, I will be tempted to administer the treatment myself, still within the 24-48 hour period, but without having to pay extortionate prices to a French vet.
