Phones/toothbrushes slow to charge

Just thinking there may be a problem with the 2kw switching? The weirdest things can sometimes be the cause😉😉
I have no idea why the Alde heating was implicated in this thread. If the power setting of the Alde heater was causing a problem with a very low power device like a phone or toothbrush charger, there would be other appliances also showing faults or poor perfomance.

Bluetonic - The OP has stated twice he was using the chargers and cable he uses at home.

Daren H has indicated he has seen bollard voltages as low as 180Vac at high demand periods, but even this would not change the performance of the phone's charger which will use a switch mode power supply and will almost certainly be suitable for world voltages of at least 90 to 250Vac with no manual intervention required.

The OP's problem is a mystery, But I do wonder with regards the phone, whether being at home it connects to the home WiFi and thus uses less power compared to using mobile data connections whilst away. That might explain the slower charging in the caravan.
