pitch size

hi all

i was enquiring about a pitch in france the woman said they only have a small pitch left which is 93m square i thought this was a decent size any thoughts anybody?

my van is 8m by the way

regards paul

Your caravan is about 20 m2, so the pitch would be about 5 times the area of your caravan but it really depends upon the shape as much as the overall area.

If you have a mover, and are able to get right into the pitch boundary at the end, or the side, whichever way is the longest, and just leave enough behind for aquaroll and waste containers then you might be OK. After all, if the pitch is say 9 metres x 10 metres then your van would just fit, a metre behind for the aquaroll, 2.5 metres for the van width, and 2.5 metres in front for the awning, and you should just about have room to squeeze your car in lengthways, I would have thought.

Enjoy your holiday! Hope the weather's good for you too, and then you'll be out and about and the pitch size won't matter as much!

Regards
