Further to my earlier post and Trevor's replies, heres an update from July. Sorry for the delay.
Have had several trips out over the summer, and my problem of pitching is a lot better, I put this down to,
1) Getting used to towing, I made a route which we drove solo as well, and paid attention to the cars normal movements, I think the car has hard suspension, which picks up various inpefections in the road surface
2) Getting a lighter nose weight, in my original question, and replies, it was mentioned that I was running with a too light a nose weight, but I have found that it doesn't like been too heavy, and with a lot of moving about if I can get the weight to be about 65kg, its about the best for reducing the pitching motion etc. I am also running the caravan for one person so am traveling light anyway. I am running a Bailey Ranger fixed bed, little weight at the back.
3)Yes Trevor, I find the golf estate, good for towing, with plenty of power to pull away, on a long run I can get 35+ mpg, which is fine , a "bit" down from my normal solo running of 50+ mpg.
