We have 4 and 5 yo girls and find the rallies with the local CC centre very good - we all have new friends that we see regularly, very cheap and they really do find some excellent sites/events.

Can't wait for the next one!

Hi Alan, we live near Peterlee and some of our favourite places nearby are:-

Hargill House at Richmond

Lower Wensleydale at Leyburn

River Breamish at Powburn

Nunnykirk near Morpeth.

Some of these may be outside your 50miles but they are all easily reachable on a Friday night.

Graeme.

Alan,

Why limit yourself to 50ish miles? if you can access any decent dual carriage way or motorway fairly close to home, then put your limit as 3 hours travelling, widens your horizons considerably to 105 or 120 miles (assuming 35 to 40 mph as an average speed when towing).
