Plastic Carpet Covering

Hi.
Was wondering if anyone knows where you can purchase the plastic floor covering that you usually find in caravans on dealers forecourts.
They usually stick a strip of it along the length of the carpets to protect them.
Thought it would be a good idea to use in ours with the two dogs running in and out all the time.
We were thinking of taking the whole carpet up,but dont really have anywhere to store it and its obviously much softer walking on carpet than a wooden floor.

hi you can buy it from builders merchants one make is called roll and stroll
but there are others
i supply and fit carpets and vinyls to caravans and motorhomes keep my address and contact me if you need anything

Or visit your local carpet showroom and ask for carpet protecter - sold by the metre.
