If its a plastic wheel 30psi

If its a steel wheel you can go higher.

My steel wheel tyre had max 4 bar on it.

When I tried this with the plastic wheel the wheel (not the tyre)exploded !!

There's no point in having a very high tyre pressure in a pneumatic jockey wheel because if you have it really hard, you loose the advantage of compliance of the rubber and you have, in effect, a solid wheel.

The pressure embossed on the sidewall is the maximimum pressure for the tyre - ideal operating pressure may be much lower than that.

The same thing happened to me Roger and I checked my old steel wheel tyre only to see " Max 4 bar"

When I foolishly tried to put this into the plastic wheel it exploded at just over 3bar

It is ridiculous that the plastic wheel tyre is not marked as well in these litigious times

So you were wise to ask !!
