Porch Awning Erection

I'm taking my aged mum for a tour of Scotland next Easter.

Our Dorema Toronto porch and FIL Bradcot porch both need two people to erect the frame, without damaging the caravan.

Does anyone know of a decent porch awning that can be erected single handed without causing damage to the 'van?

Cheers

Dustydog.you could try www.kampa.co.uk very light and easy to erect we bought one last year and found it to be the best awning weve had .They have an internet shop in Rugby but I believe warehousing etc is near Mansfield

If you go for this one get the optional extra polls ,there are no polls that actually touch the caravan so the extra ones go down the back taking the buffer of the awning against the caravan

I hope this helps

Regards Sir Roger

I was worried about damage when erecting my porch with steel poles, so I bought some foam pipe insulation cut 2 pieces 12 inches long and simply fitted over the down/verticle poles near the top. And there's no need to remove them when the awning is up.
