Hi

We've got the van on a permanant site now so we can use it for long weekends, etc and generally get more use out of it. I don't fancy having to put the awning up just for a few nights so I was thinking about getting a porch awning.

We need some sort of porch awning to house the two dogs. They will be in cages.

We did have a porch awning before, I think it was a scenic but it kept flapping around and my husband didn't like it so I sold it.

So question is, can anyone recommend a decent size porch awning which will house two dog crates and possibly a couple of small chairs which is easy to erect?

Many thanks.

I used a Bradcot Portico XL (selling it now as a pain to dry out and do a lot of weekend rallies) but it is an excellent size as projection is 8ft, also it only has the front end that is not attached to the awning rail and you can use an additional annex if you want to

Without question the best porch awning has to be the Isabella Magnum, pricey but fantastic quality with carbon fibre poles, You can pick up a good second hand one less than 1 year old for about

Hi

Thanks very much for the replies and suggestions. I don't want to spend too much as the porch will only be used for 2 dogs and footwear.

I'm currently watching ebay as there's a few on there I'm interested in.

Many thanks.

Lisa,

We have a Doreema Vitesse XL and it is a very good large size (have not got the sizes off hand) but if you see one of these on line give it consideration we love ours.
