Hi Everyone

I haven't posted for a while so "Happy New Year" to you all.

I am looking for some advice on a porch awning, with a view to purchasing one at the February NEC Show. We have alot of weekends booked away this year and don't want to drag our bradcot full awning away with us. We are looking at spending around £100-£200, as we will only be using it for ocassional use. Any recommendations would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Hi Sam, my last 2 porch awnings have been bought privately from that well known internet auction site.

I've managed to get the right colour to match the van and both of them have been in perfect condition and at a very good price.

Of course, "let the buyer beware"

Hi Sam,

We had a small "easiporch" awning for weekends away for exactly the reason you describe. The 1050 Bradcot was too much effort for short stays. But with 4 bikes, footware and other junk, we were struggling with the little porch awning.

Then I saw a Sunncamp 390 on a site and spoke with the owner.

He had been using it for 4 years and said it was the best awning he had ever used. Easy to put up, lightweight and still with plenty of room inside.

I bought one 2nd hand last year for I think
