hi,

depending what van you have, the height and width are important as some porch awnings are quite wide and may not be suitable for a small 2 berth van, also some caravans are not as high(awning rail height)as others(mainly avondales had this difference)but best to measure.just browse the awning manufacturers websites to see photos.the only one that makes different height porches are as far as i know NR AWNINGS,they do 7ft - 7ft6' - 8ft

Traditionally, porches are measured in 3 vertical heights, which are 7 ft, 7 ft 6 inches, or 8 ft, (awning rail to ground) but now go by their metric equivalent. Within reason you can slide a porch awning along the awning rail to whichever position suits you best (but not blocking doors, windows or vents). They also come in various widths and depths.

I believe the above also applies to the more modern semi-dome shaped porches.

Hope this is helpful.
