Has anyone any knowledge of the road/route from Vigo (A52) towards Leon, Spain. Intend to travel to Santander, across NW Spain, down into Portugal then back via inland route. Only 2 weeks hol so not much time.

We went from Salamanca to Evora and then down to the coast, as far as I recall the road was okay. Have a look at my blog www.gandm.eu it will be under winter 2006.
