Hello Jenny

I've seen pictures posted on our forum but I'm not too sure how to do it myself.

I'm glad that you like our forum and long may you continue to post on it but there's no rule that says that you can only be in one caravan forum (I'm in four)

Have a look at

http://www.carryoncamping.org/index.php
This friendly forum may not be to everyones taste but it is well run and moderated these days imho and has an excellent and easy to use photo galley that is open to members only.

Don't forget to still post on here as well though!!

Thanks Parksy. Just having a look fornew caravan forums...I like a good chat about things I'm passionate about. I tried photobucket but it didn't work. I'll have a hunt to see if I can find out more.

Jenny, It is a bit long winded to put photos on this message board, but once you have an account set up with a photo sharing website it is quite straight forward. if you want to do it try the following:

Open up a free photo sharing account. You can use one of the ones listed below (Putfile) or Photobucket which I think is easier to use:

http://putfile-dev.hheld.com/
http://photobucket.com/
Any photos you want to post must first be uploaded to your own account on the photo sharing website you choose.

To add photos here go to your Photo sharing account, upload the picture you want to post. Click copy where it says HTML. Then post that link to the comment box here.

If you also want to write a comment to go with your photo, on the forum thread, do this first, then paste the HTML link underneath your comments.

Like this: I hope it works?

Hi Jenny,

Please follow these instructions:

(Uploading and Resizing Pictures for the Forum)

Go to: http://photobucket.com and register yourself on this website, upload your pictures, once your pictures are uploaded you need to select the picture you want to display on this forum

Above the picture you will see a few tabs (Move, Edit, Share,Delete,) select Edit, you now have the choice of (Full size, Resize, Rotate, Share, Delete, Buy prints) select resize, you now have the choice of (Avatar (100 x 75) Thumbnail (160 x 120) Website, Email (320 x 240) Message board (640 x 480) choose Website, email, you will now get a message saying you are about to resize this image click yes to continue, your image is now resized.

Under or to the right of the picture you will see four different boxes to select, select the one that says HTML Tag, click on it and you will see a message saying copied. All you have to do then is type your topic in the forum then right click on your mouse and paste, your picture should now be on the forum.

Hope this helps
