Powrtouch Motor Movers

Hullo all
Bought our twin axle van 4 years ago and had the above mover fitted by the dealer ( Barrons/Discover) when it was new.
Dealer not only fitted it incorrectly (which we subsequently had adjusted) but also failed to register our mover with Powrtouch for its 5 year warranty (of this we were blissfully ignorant and didn't know better).

Move on to Easter 2010 just after the freezing winter, pitch up on a lovely site to discover the coating has just crumbled completely off one of the rollers, rendering the whole unit useless.

Ring Powrtouch when we get home, who have of course never heard of us. However after a few helpful phonecalls and e-mailed photographs later, they retrospectively put us on their system, and arrange for a wonderful chap who came out whilst we were on another holiday and fitted brand new rollers to BOTH sides. Free of charge. Mover is now as good as new. 🙂

So, thank you Powrtouch for fantastic customer service. And when we buy our new van this Autumn, you can be sure we will be buying your product (direct from you this time!) again.

Hi Lesley,

I aggree with you, Powrtouch are a fantastic company and their movers a great as well. We had to give them a call a few weeks ago as one of our rollers needed adjusting. Within the same week the fitter called and arranged to come and adjust the mover, you can't get better service than that. I would recommend Powrtouch 100% every time.

You say you are changing your van in the autumn and going to buy another Powrtouch mover, why don't you have the mover you have now fitted to your new caravan, it would save you a lot of money.

If only all company's would provide as good an after sales service as Powrtouch do, especially in the caravan trade. Fortunately I have not had any problems with my mover to date but it is good to know that there is a no quibble response from the company when anything does go wrong.
