You will find the circuit diagram at http://www.neleisureproducts.co.uk/support/Classic/Powrtouch%20Classic%20Instructions%20CDFM%20Issue%202%20January%202014.pdf

Page 17 shows the information you want.

This is the new version but the wiring is still the same. If yours does not have a fuse in the pos. line I would fit one for safety.

Hi.
I'm not really qualified to give very in depth technical advice. However.
My mover appears to have the negative cable going directly from the battery to the control unit.
The positive cable goes from the battery directly to the switch you mention then onwards again to the control unit.
If the switch is operating correctly then there is no way your mover should operate with the switch in the open position.

Unless your is a completely different set up I feel confident in saying that only the positive cable passes through the switch.
I'm sure more experienced site members will comment and probably also give you links to the powertouch site that will show wiring diagrams.
Best wishes Brian

The isolation switch has ONLY the positive cable connected to it ,one end direct from battery via a 20a fuse to one terminal and the other end to the mover control box from the other terminal.

Under NO circumstances connect positive AND negative to the isolation switch as you WILL cause a direct short circuit which WILL cause a fire and destroy not only the wiring but battery as well AND set fire to the van.

The only wires that should be connected are negative direct from battery to mover control box and positivedirect from battery, through the isolation switch from the battery to the mover control box.

I agree with Damian. It seems to me that the OP isn't really sure of the connections so would suggest that, perhaps, he calls a qualified caravan electrician.
