The new EnRoute magazine (page 124) has an advert for the Enduro motor mover at £599 diy or £799 fitted. It appears to be equivalent to the PowrTouch Model 3 which costs considerably more. The Enduro includes the cross actuator.

Has anyone asked PowrTouch to match the £599 price with cross actuator?

The big question is, if the Enduro goes wrong,,is there the same level of service available for 5 years? as there is with the Powrtouch?

Will you have a truly "No Quibble2 guarantee, with an engineer coming to wherever you are to fix it?

simple answer, no you won't get the same level of service like you won't receive the same quality of component.

Ive seen one of these enduro movers and the components are not a patch on powerwheel's, cheap motors and bearings plus lower quality thiner gauge steel. the movers fine if your on a budget and don't really care about quality but if you want longevity and peace of mind the the powerwheel is by far the better option.

I have seen a demo of the Enduro and it is good product which does what it says on the tin. Time will tell on durability but I have seen plenty of rusty PowerTouches around - alot depends on how you look after them. I fit Motor Movers in the Yorskhire Region and many problems I see are caused by lack of maintenance or incorrect fitting so I would always recommend professional fitting. PowerWheel are a great company with good customer service but if you don't want to pay

Having compared ALL makes and models recently the Enduro is only comparable to the Powrtouch basic model 1. This does however still come with FREE full 5 year guarantee. Well worth the extra. The Model 3 heavy duty is far more substantial than the Enduro.

I fit powrtouch movers around the oxfordshire area.Having been involved in the service industry for some 20 years i can honestly say that powrtouch are the best.

I also know for a fact that spares for enduro are hard to get.

My local supplier can sell me a mover but no spares.

Sounds like an absolute bargain as i beleive the powrtouch model 1 is equivalent to the Enduro, you have got a much better unit. I wonder why they price match with the heavy duty?

the spec for the Enduro and the powrtouch 3 is very similar. I needed a mover for a gradient of 1:6 the Enduro quotes 1:4. I used this for the price match. I got the Enduro price from Ebay, a dealer price not private.

Hi we had a Powrtouch model 3 fitted today, the total price was 576.00, this was on the price match.
I had to check on this as it seemed to good to be true. Apparently this was an error on bahalf of Powrtouch and should have been DIY price. It seems you have got an absolute ONE OFF bargain (error)
