Powrwheel time wasting

I have just bought our first van and decided to splash out on a new powrwheel motor mover to help shift the twin axle Senator Carolina around. Having arranged a suitable day for fitting I take a day off work and wait .... and wait... After calling them at 10am I am advised that someone will get back to me (guess what, no-one does) - after four further phone calls throughout the day I find out what is happenning. I finally get the no one is coming today at 4pm. Has anyone else had problems with this company - I find it infuriating when companies do this particularly when you are spending a lot of money with them. I have now cancelled my order!

I must say Stuart, that your's is the only complaint I have ever heard of about Powrwheel. Everyone that posts on these forums really rate this company as something special as far as customer relations is concerned. Perhaps we can get a response from them directly about your problem.

Stuart, as a fitter for Powrwheel I am deeply shocked by your posting.

The normal sequence of events is as your mover is dispatched to you

a letter is sent to the fitter who will be doing the work, who then contacts you to arrange fitting.

Recently there has been an attempt to notify fitters by E-mail, but still a follow up letter too.

It is no use the Company arranging definite fitting dates, as they may not be acceptable to either you or the fitter, or there may be a delay in the information reaching the fitter.

Your situation is the first ever I have heard of in this way and certainly is not normal for this company.

It may not be the right thing for me to do, but I will apologise on their behalf, and will be seeing them very soon and will discuss the fitting arrangements with them. to ensure this kind of thing does not happen in future.

Thankyou Steve and Damian for posting a reply to my frustration.

I admit that I chose Powrwheel as I had heard good reports which made me even more surprised about the dreadful service I personally received - maybe there is an internal communication breakdown??. I would appreciate you saying something Damian - I still have no reply from Powrwheel as to what happened! (even though I have also emailed them with my frustration)- I will of course post again should I have reciave an update.

Stuart,

you haven't said if you had actually received the motormover prior to fittment, as if the fitter knew this, it would then explain the reason for the non-appearance.

There could have been an internal communication breakdown, but as Damian states, it's the fitter who arranges the time and date, not Powrwheel themselves.

I have a motormover from them on my T/A and can't fault them for service,

best regards, Martin

My Powrwheel mover arrived on Monday morning this week as promised and the fitter contacted me on the same day to arrange fitting today (Wednesday)he is fitting my unit now as I am posting .So far apart from a slightly longer time than given on the website to receive my mover (four weeks) I can not fault the service given by this company, they even price matched with a cheaper DIY fit unit.

The way I read Stuarts posting is that he after having the day off for the fitting eventually cancelled his order.

Are we to assume that the mover hadn`t actually been delivered? If so the fitter wouldn`t turn up what would be the point.

My own experience with power wheel are they are first class on the dot
