Why is that Practical Caravan magazine never print target prices for new caravans as they do in ther sister mag What Car. Whebever they carry out a road test on a car they print a suggested price that you should be able to haggle a car dealer to but never a mention of what discounts you should expect on a caravan. So come on start publishing a list of the dealers and manufacturers who are willing to have a deal.

Excellent point Paul!

I read both magazines as well and it has never occurred to me that if they can do this for one, they can do it for both. The market might be smaller but the same principle applies - unless the smaller market / power of the advertiser stops this happening?

What about it Mr Donnelly?

Good idea! And depreciation estimates too, please.

Of course discounts are season-dependent, and as said the sample sizes are smaller than for cars, but if the caravan club can print depreciation estimates (as used values) then a magazine should be able to.
