Prepaid meter in static caravan

Hi. When we close for the winter I have to make sure there's plenty of credit in the electric meter as it continues to take the standing charge of about £1 per week. If we turn off the electric supply would we save this charge or would it catch up when we turn it back on? Thanks, Sue

Hello Debs,

Your electrical supply should be subject to terms and condition that your supplier should have given you when you took the supply on. I suggest you ask them.
