Pressure or microswitched taps?

Looking online to see whether I need to replace my leaking kitchen taps, and there are a variety for sale. I think I need to do some measuring to make sure I get the right ones, but I don't understand what the difference is between pressure or microswitched? Taps are for an old Award Goldstar mk 1
Can anybody advise please what I should be looking for?

Almost all taps come with microswitches as standard, however if you have a pressure switched system the microswitch in the tap is simply not used.

Check the tap in your van, if the microswitch wires are connected then you have a microswitched system.
If the wires are not connected, and maybe even cut off, then you have a pressure switch system.
