Price Lists for second hand caravans

Does anyone know if there are any websites where I can get a guide to price up my caravan. It is a Coachman Genius 520/4 1993 model.

The best thing to do is look on ebay if theres ant on there or adtrader or caravan dealers, i dont think the is a book out for used caravans thats what i done when i got rid of my van or even type the model of your van on google someone is sure to be selling one like it that should give you some ideas

Hi Phillip,

I wouldn't put too much reliance on eBay as far as prices are concerned - currently a lot of used caravans don't even reach their reserve. There IS a kind of Glass's guide for caravans but it is difficult for the ordinary punter to get information.

The Caravan Club can put you in touch with some outfit who gives prices when asked - usually enquiries about how much to insure a van for.

As mentioned the only 'official' guide is restricted to trade only. I would suggest look at dealers forecourts and get an idea of the retail price. Deduct 40% and you will get an idea of the trade price for your van. Add 15% and you will get an idea of the private price you can put on it in a reasonable expectation of a sale.
