If you have an inkjet printer - then silver will just be a light grey colour - and it won't have a shiny surface
However, in the past when I've needed to print something special - and only if you have a laser printer - then you can buy a silver overlay film that you run through the printer along with the paper or card.
The heat from the laser printing process "bonds" the silver foil onto the paper - either directly or in a second process where the foil sticks on top of the black printing
If you don't have a laser printer - and the silver sublimation foil was expensive - then it might be better to take the finished artwork on a memory stick to a jobbing printer.
